After her daughter was born, Xu Ai discovered that her husband was actually the villain in a novel.

To ensure that she and her daughter had financial stability after their inevitable divorce, she threw herself into her work.

The little Nuo Nuo was always taken care of by the nanny.

When the villain returned from a six-month business trip, he was surprised to see how much his daughter had grown. After his initial shock, he continued to focus on his work.

One night, he discovered a small figure had crawled into his bed.

Nuo Nuo, upset because her mother had confiscated her toys, decided she wouldn’t play with her mom anymore.

Xu Ai, not backing down, said, “Fine, go play with your dad and see how long he’ll put up with you.”

Nuo Nuo indeed started to follow her dad everywhere.

If her dad went to work, she wanted to go too. If she couldn’t go, she would cry.

Nuonuo was picky about her food. If she was made to finish her meal, she would cry.

If her toy broke, she didn’t want a new one. She would cry.

If she played late into the night and was told to sleep, she would cry.

The villain saw that his daughter was a crybaby and delicate, and her crying was heart-wrenching.

He realized this wasn’t right and decided that the nanny was not doing a good job, so he decided to take care of her himself.

Initially, Sheng Zexi just wanted to discipline Nuo Nuo and make her less spoiled and willful. But eventually, when the little princess pouted, he found himself thinking about how to make her happy.

OMG, Companion of the Dead is such a fun ride! Olivia’s just a broke college girl trying to get by when she takes this wild gig as a grave cleaner, and let me tell you, it gets super spooky real quick. On their first night, she and her bestie Mia run into this seriously hot guy just chilling on a gravestone, and things get intense as they dive into this world of restless spirits and dark magic. I’m totally here for the handsome male lead—like, can we just appreciate how important that is? Even though there are only a few chapters out, I can already see its brilliance shining like a rough diamond in the rock. The mix of humor, friendship, and supernatural vibes has me hooked, and I’m dying to see where Olivia’s crazy adventure goes next!

When I first read it, I thought Alex is a man because her character is so tough unlike the common FML in this genre. Well, the story and pacing is great. And Reed is a cool guy who could compliment Alex's character. Overall a great story!

You can, you just have to time it right. It'll probably be when sh starts to flirt with you. You're practicing so if you screw up, it's fine. Either way, even if you manage to do it, compel her to forget you ever asked but do it smoothly.
